1. What inspired you to become a hair stylist?

I've always wanted to do hair, actually i've always been doing hair,it started when i was 9 years old. Came to me as a dream. Growing up doing it then gave me the courage to want to do more, because people where loving it and i was getting paid for it as well.

2. What kind of training did you do for this role?

well i didn't do any training for this, it was more of self taught growth. I always wanted to know why things where done the way they where done and why. My 2 previous jobs i was given challenges to handle the entire salons so i guess that's where i got my ability and skill of running my own business.

3. How did you manage to get celebrities to trust you with their hair?

Lol selling myself to them, keeping up with what's trending, staying creative and also being able to communicate with them in the most simple way. They just want someone who will do the right thing and i happened to be that person.

4. What inspires your creative and out of the box hair styles?

Everyone does hair, my question was what is it that i can do differently? My answer was in how i do hair, the technique, the ability to bring beauty is someone's head and also creating trends: clients trust you for that. Seeing different styles for me plays a big role, we want to see something out of this world, something that was never done before. My type of inspiration.

5. What is the most difficult part about your job?

Managing people, dealing with different personalities and personal issues. I have 8 employees and trust me its different everyday, some days they are okay and cooperating and some days they are not doing what they supposed to.

6. Share some of the day to day activitied you do in your job.

Meetings at least every Tuesday with everyone at the salon, attend to bookings done for me. once a week i have a salon training, where i teach natural hair and product usage. Since its wedding season, i also do outside job, house calls for brides and their bridesmaids. I also deal social media feed for our pages as well.
